The Level Up Conference for Authors (LUCA) is a private, invite only, small group event for established authors looking to take their business to the next level.

This event is not for those who are still waiting to publish their first book, or even those who have just begun publishing. At LUCA, you won't learn about how to publish with KDP or find a cover artist.

You WILL learn how to take your existing publishing business to the next level.

LUCA is for individuals with the drive, courage, and fortitude to commit themselves to writing and publishing books as a career rather than as a hobby. For those who are willing to stick it out for the long game rather than pursue the get-rich-quick shortcuts every guru claims their course can give you.

LUCA is for those authors looking to build connections with likeminded peers who will drive them to excellence in everything they do, forever pushing the boundaries of publishing to discover better ways to deliver high quality books to their growing audience.

What to Expect?

LUCA kicks off with an in-person, two day conference. The core focus of this two day event will be learning the primary principles you need to improve your book sales via leverage, focus, and branding. You'll learn how to use risk assessments, determine your business action loop, and build a feedback loop. Moving from a strategic to tactical focus as each day progresses, attendees will have a practical and actionable roadmap for their unique business by the end of the second day.

Attendees should be ready for two days of focused learning, discussion, and brainstorming, but there will be plenty of time to get feedback and strategize around the needs of attendees' specific businesses, as well as space for more casual networking and one on one conversations.

Upon arrival, attendees will be given the Level Up Strategy Playbook, a comprehensive document outlining the strategies, processes, and best practices for scaling a fiction writing business.

Attendees will also get the Level Up Action Plan, a framework for identifying and capitalizing on leverage points that they will fill out over the course of the conference, building out their own personalized action plan.

After LUCA ends, attendees will be given access to the LUCA Clubhouse, a private discord server where they can continue the conversations and relationships started at the conference. The LUCA community is built around providing a positive, encouraging peer group of like minded professionals who know each other's businesses and needs. Quarterly virtual events after the conference will provide ongoing accountability and opportunity to troubleshoot business challenges.

Attendees will also get two hours of ongoing private consulting from Seth and Erin after the conference to help fine tune each attendee's Level Up Action Plan and provide support and accountability.

What We'll Cover

At The Event

The primary focus of our time together will be attendees formulating immediately applicable individualized action plans for their publishing business. Each session, spanning topics like risk assessment, how to scale labor, and building customer retention, and feedback loop, will be followed by discussion and practical application.

Dive into identifying which leverage levers to pull in your business, and leave knowing precisely how to prioritize and apply them. Ensure your process is built to work with your brain rather than against it, from the ground up, and learn about the science of focus. Finalize a business action loop that gets you where you want to go, and create systems to keep you on track to say "yes" not just to good things, but to the next right thing in your business.

Do it all while connecting with others who have already hit milestones in the business and are ready to create the kind of invigorating conversations and community that greases gears and motivates us to smash our goals out of the park.

We are committed to you getting everything you can out of this jam-packed event, so we are offering a 2 hour per person post-con individual consulting session with Seth and Erin.

March 27th

We hit the ground running on day one by diving into Vision, Leverage, and Focus—three of the most important concepts for any business.
Through Leverage, we identify and capitalize on activities that produce outsized results without burning us out.
Through Focus, we develop the mindset and tactical toolset we need to make the most of the opportunities we have and to create the opportunities we don't.
By the end of the first day, expect to have a list of prioritized actionable items for your specific business.

March 28th

On day two, we explore Brand at a high level and put a concrete plan together to kick established brands up a notch, ensuring that we're ready to start executing as soon as we get home.
Brand ultimately determines what larger strategies work for scaling and where resources are best spent, allowing you to prioritize for the greatest ROI.
Next we tackle risk assessment, business action loop, and feedback so that by the end of the second day, you'll not only have a clear set of actionable goals for your writing business, but you'll also have a detailed, peer-reviewed, step-by-step plan for how to crush those goals.

When he isn’t writing, Seth enjoys passing on what he has learned about being an author with a focus on how to grow revenue to 7-figures and beyond.

ERIN "E.A." WINTERS

E.A. Winters writes high-stakes, fast-paced adventure fantasy with clean romance. Between fantasy and children’s books, she has sold over 100,000 copies since 2021.

Erin is also a Licensed Professional Counselor with a decade of mental health experience including group facilitation, habit formation, and diving deep to identify and overcome obstacles.
